Why is it that my most used products always run out at the same time?! Hmm?! Tell me!
Seven of my daily go-to's have had every last inch scrapped, sprayed and squirted out of them and it's time to finally part ways.
Even though the satisfying feeling of finishing something still remains, it's effing annoying when they all run out within a week of each other.
With my beauty drawer(s) feeling seven products lighter, below you will find seven of my current empty products and mini reviews about them.
Enjoy!
1. Liz Earle EyeBright Soothing Eye Lotion
I've talked about this before here and have used it everyday since- probs why it's now empty - and I swear by it. It's a much nicer alternative to high street eye makeup removers which sting and can be quite harsh, this is more gentle and, like all Liz Earle products, only natural ingredients are used.
Previously mentioned in My Evening Skincare Routine, I take two cotton pads with the lotion on and hold over my eyes (just like you would with cucumbers). Like the name suggests, it's cooling and soothing and really does the job. I'm sad to see this one go but when pay day rolls around, this'll be at the top of my list fo' sho'.
2. Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
Calling all beauty bloggers, you can back me up on this. Said to be a dupe for Nars Creamy Concealer, Collection's Lasting Perfection Concealer is renowned for it's high coverage but low price. I swear by it and it's one of my go-to concealers from everything to under-eye circles to blemishes and imperfections.
It's a concealer that can get you through a whole season and rarely needs repurchasing for a good few months. So you can imagine how gutted I am when it runs out.
If you haven't tried it (where the eff have you been living?!) go and pick it up and be prepared for your concealer game to be changed, forever.
P.S. It's only £2.99 in Superdrug here.
3. Zara Femme Eau De Toilette
This is my signature perfume. It's just me. I spoke about it way back when in my Friday Faves in January and it's lasted me ever since. The delicate 30ml is an oriental smell and (according to the website) has notes of Bergamont, Vanilla, Caramel, Musk and Sandalwood (look at me pretending that I know everything about perfume). It's a very musky smell which I prefer and tend to gravitate towards when buying new perfume. A spritz here and there is all you need to ensure you smell fabulous.
The packaging isn't too shabby either. The frosted glass bottle is topped off with a rose gold lid and matching writing. And at £5.99 for 30ml, you can't really go wrong.
Zara, I'm coming for you.
4. Maybelline Stay Matte Powder in 005 Silky Beige
Another beauty blogger must-have, the trusted Stay Matte Powder is a cult classic and something most people have tried (and loved). It's pocket money price and easy of use make it great for anybody no matter how big or small your makeup collection.
I tend to flick between this and another drugstore powder and as this ones been coming to an end and all that's left are the edges, I've been swaying towards my second fave for the moment. An unfortunate sufferer of oily skin, this powder does help to keep my skin matte and it's a defo must have.
5. Sally Hansen Airbrush Leg Makeup
<3 Fake Tan <3
If you know me, you know how much I love fake tan. Fake tan just makes everybody look 100x better and makes you feel fab.
I've tried pretty much every fake tan under the sun and I still gravitate towards Sally Hansen's Airbrush range whenever I need a fake tan that I can trust. I've tried this in spray form before and loved it so I had no problem trying it.
It's pretty fab at covering blemishes including scars and even the redness from hair removal, it's basically like a full coverage makeup but for your legs.
It's instant which means that there's no walking around your room naked for hours (well not for too long anyway) whilst you wait for it to dry - side not, sorry neighbours.
Anyway this is defo something I'm going to repurchase because there's no other way my pins are coming out without a slap of tan on.
6. Benefit Triple Performing Facial Emulsion
Have a cheeky read here to see how I got this for free a few weeks ago.
Ever since I got this at my local Benefit counter, I was hooked. It's really good. Like really good. It's a rich and luxurious-feeling consistency and a pleasure to apply in the evening. This deluxe sample-sized product was bound to run out sooner or later and I'm thankful it's lasted for over 3 weeks. It's definitely a product I'm going to invest in *adds to pay day shopping list*.
Have a read here for my 101 on how I use it.
7. Benefit Instant Comeback Facial Serum
Likewise with the facial emulsion, this bad boy from Benefit has done me well for the 3 week period I had to try it out. It's a doddle to apply and leaves your skin feeling all kinds of healthy and soft and fab.
By the looks of things, this is going to be one expensive beauty month.
